Mobile Wyndham LBV - Anyone stayed here?

Hi guys.

Spending 9 nights at the Wyndham LBV near Disney Springs next May and I wondered if anyone has stayed there and what their experiences were. A few particular queries I have;

1. Although when I booked it through Expedia it says it’s an official Disney hotel, it doesn’t appear on the Magic Express transfer list which is strange. Do they therefore give you the magic bands upon arrival there or would I need to collect from elsewhere?

2. Would you recommend the character breakfast?

3. How would you rate the hotel as a whole?

4. How frequent were the shuttle buses to the parks?

5. Is there a lift in the bridge that goes over to Disney Springs?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't stayed there but I do know that only Disney onsite hotels have magical express and magic bands provided. Partner hotels have extra magic hours and park shuttles included, although it may be that emh are only available if you book through Disney rather than a third party. The only benefit of having a magic band if staying offsite is using it instead of the card for entry and fastpasses as it won't open your hotel door and you can't use it to charge to your room.

Thank you Melanie. So you don’t think we’ll be offered magic bands even though we are staying at a Disney property? I’m only bothered about magic bands to facilitate fast passes. If we don’t get magic bands can the app alone be used for this?

I don't think it's considered a disney property but a disney partner hotel. I haven't stayed in this hotel, but looked it up at some point. I don't believe you get a magic band and you cannot take advantage of the magical express. The shuttle to the parks is run by the hotel rather than by disney.

You should be able to link your reservation via the my disney experience app regardless, and book your fast passes etc that way. You could buy magic bands and link them to your reservation while you're there (I think you can pick basic designs for about $20).

Edit: I would also double check your status with regard to extra magic hours.

We stayed here a few years ago.Fantastic location just across the road from Disney springs.Lovely pool and hot tubs. There are two accommodations here, the motel style access from the corridor rooms or the hotel style tower rooms.Maybe check which you are staying in.The rooms in the motel were fine, could have done with modernising but had a fridge which was a bonus. We didn’t realise the hefty resort fee so had a big bill when we checked out as we had two rooms.Shuttles were fab, regular and never full. Its got a disneystore inside and character breakfast once a week but not an official Disney hotel, but the perks are 60 day fast pass booking and I think early hours. All in all I would definitely stay here again.

I stay next door at the palace! What I can tell you is..
Yes there is a lift at the springs bridge.
Shuttles go to 2 parks and are 2 an hour. I have to be honest last year I never got the time right! You have to give 10 mins either side of expected time to ensure you get the bus. It can get busy but they usually put on another bus if the first is full. Going home from parks buses were always on time.
I believe Tower rooms are very nice, garden rooms motel like and IMO last year looked like they needed an upgrade.

Brilliantly placed hotel, you can walk to crossroads easily ( whilst its still there). 60 day fast pass excellent!.

One major advantage here is, at the end of the night, just get the bus to Disney Springs and you'll probably be home quicker. Ive stayed at the Best Western and its on the same bus schedule. The buses are fine, you do wait longer than at Disney Hotels, but there isnt anything to worry about there.
