Tron and Gaurdians of the galaxy

Any idea when this are due to open? We are going back 2021. Was thinking August but May is so much cheaper. (Would take kids out of school) but don’t want to go all that way if they aren’t. As won’t be another few years after that. Thanks

They are due to be open in time for the 50th anniversary of WDW, which will be on 1st October 2021. That said, no one knows if they will be opened before or after that date.

We don't really know at the moment other than they will open sometime in 2021 and probably before October.

I have seen some rumours suggesting the GotG coaster might open in Spring 2021 and the Tron coaster might open in Summer 2021. But those are guesses*. I think you are more likely to see both of these open if you visit in August than in May. I certainly wouldn't bet money on them both being open by May 2021.

(*although apparently the Tron coaster will definitely open in August 2021 and we all know this.

Tron, now that has the potential for a serious ride in semi darkness with use of fluorescents
