Mvmcp start dates- historically

Last year we left on the 7 th Nov, the first day of mvmcp, we were miffed as we thought we would just fit it in.
Next year we've moved our trip to half term week plus the 2 following weeks. Are we likely to catch the parties?
Ideally we'd come home on fri 10th Nov, but we could hang on to the 11th if we had to.
Coming home on Friday gives my dd extra time to recover before school on Monday, but we don't want to miss the xmas party as it's doubtful we'll go at that time of year again, due to dd getting older.

We went on the 10th this year which was Thursday and I think it started on the Sunday.
