we rented in September and it was $40 plus tax, we liked having this reserved space, they were nicer loungers. It would have been better if there had been lockers with them too though. You can book when you get to the park or beforehand by phone.

They obviously charge more in peak times we were there in July.

Don’t bother, if you get there early tons of loungers and shade for free. I’ve never been without loungers and shade.

Spend the $70 towards a pac safe travel safe, you’ll never need a locker anywhere ever again, and it great when you are by the pool, on cruises etc.

I put this on another thread

If you’re getting there for opening you can easily get a umbrella or gazebo covered area and save yourself some money.

Blizzard Beach, keep left where you are held at the bridge. Once rope dropped cross the bridge and choose a bed under the wooden gazebo area (plenty of choice).

Typhoon Lagoon, keep right then once rope drop get a bed/umbrella on the beach area in front of the double raft rides (pineapple / coconut etc).

I’d echo YT’s pacsafe comment. I’ve got one of those bags and it’s saved a fortune in the parks and very secure

I wouldn’t worry about renting them unless you’re planning on arriving later in the day, you can always find shaded areas under the big wooden structures they have in the sandy areas! I find usually everyone’s in the sun and I’m one of the few hiding from the sun!
