Wouldnt bother with any straightners. a few pretty hairbands etc and tie it back. I usually take Phillip Kingsley elastizier and see if that helps. Have a fab time may see you out there we can compare hair lol

I have to tie mine back. Nothing makes any difference. I would like to try a keratin treatment one of these days but I still don’t think I’d wear it down in that heat.

I'm definitely a 'monica' for frizzy hair! Plaits, 2 side ones can't think what they are called but good for the heat too

I wear a cap all day and hair straighteners for night. I’ve given up fighting it!

I use Wow colour humidity spray, it's about £24. from M&S (they are running 20% off beauty at the moment if you have a sparks card) or you can get it from loads of online retailers.
Its kept my long hair from turning to a frizz ball during holidays to Florida & also Argentina this year. You just spray it on wet hair & blow dry. Its heat activated and each treatment lasts 2-3 washes. I use it every 3rd wash, the bottle is still pretty full. May be worth having a look?

Were here now and I have really thick wavy hair, I just use a l’oreal Argon oil serum after I wash it and plait it or put it in a high bun. It’s humid but not as bad as it is in August!

Unfortunately it doesn't work on my hair and was acomplete waste of money.
I tried it for the first time recently but as soon as I went out after styling (in a Scottish mist) my hair was crazy again. Same again just going for a walk another day. Don't think this would work in Florida either (at least for me) The keratin treatment sounds like the best way to go. |

Definitely the keratin. You don’t have to go to the hairdresser though! Amazon and do it yourself.
