We flew virgin lite from man and paid around 230 for a week in their sale. We did an Airbnb in Jersey. It was amazing just a few mins on the ferry or underground and views were spectacular. Two good bedrooms and two good bathrooms. Around 1700 for week. airbnb/rooms/24697... S0ZXr%2Fec9Lp

I would also recommend looking at BA. We got flight for 3ad and 1 child for £1100 from LHR on April 8th and have booked an apartment in Brooklyn for £1000 for the week.

We stayed at Home2Suites in Long Island City. Two double beds, a sofa bed, a kitchenette and free breakfast. It was just 2 stops on the very convenient subway to Central Parks.
Have fun!

My advice would be that the closer you get to Times Square not only does it get more expensive but the rooms get smaller.
Think you need to work out what you want to do whisky there and then see how far youre willing to travel daily. The subway is very good for getting around so that should help. I think you need to look at a twin room with 5th sleeper. Have a look on trivago or similar
