First solo pre-trippie

I'm flying indirect Bristol - Dublin -MCO on the 19th and staying at the Carribbean Beach for 2 weeks.
Never been anywhere solo for more than 2 days before but I do like my own company so I'm quite excited to be doing this. I've had a very stressful year and my holiday earlier in the year with my cousin was ruined by us both catching 'flu on the 'plane on the way there and spending 3 of our 5 days in bed (and don't ask about the trip home, that's something I never want to experience again - suffice to say at one point I was asleep on the bare floor in Lanazarote airport)
I'm all packed
I've got my dollars and all my documentation printed out. I bought 9 paperbacks but I think that's overkill I need to decide which ones to take - even with company I can usually read three. Yes I know a Kindle would be simpler but I hate them and anyway the paperbacks aren't coming home again so that will leave some room in my case
Are there any particular things people would like to hear about a solo trip once I arrive there?

Three days to go and I'm trying, I'm really trying, to work but my mind keeps off tracking to
"What haven't I packed?"
"Did I get in enough catfood?"
How many T shirts/books/shorts/pretty much everything I've already packed is enough or too much?"
I keep sending people at work Mickey Mouse gifs - just in case they aren't aware

3 DAYS TO GO! you must be so excited! Looking forward to reading along as I very much like the sound of a solo trip - infact thinking of upgrading my universal ticket to AP when I am out there to sneak in a cheeky solo return trip!

I too am very happy doing my own thing and in my own company - infact why I ever thought booking 22 nights in florida with my OH was a good idea I will never know - must try very hard not to kill him!
