I assume it swaps over to the Halloween version from 7pm on MNSSHP nights?

Before 7pm most of the lights will still be off and so it will still be dark and you won’t be able to see much. It’s just that after 7pm it’ll be even darker and have a different sound track. The OP is talking about a special occasion when the lights were all on and you could see everything.

Thanks, didn't even notice OP was talking about the lights being on, I just skimmed and assumed they were talking about the lights going off

There is two tracks but they really aren’t much different. Can’t say that I’m a fan as I always seem to crush a delicate area on it. My wife hates it but my youngest son absolutely loves it.

Hi id always avoided SM as I'm a wimp. Love BTM and Aerosmith but after watching the lights on you tube video of SM and my 6 year old son wanting me to take him in I decided to face my fear.
I went on it and loved it! It is fairly tame but decent. If you like BTM you'll be fine. Give it a go!
I'm going back next year and the one I really want to conquer but haven't been able to face is Hulk

We enjoy the ride but last time we went we wondered if there are two tracks as one seemed better than the other
Rob
There's definitely 2 tracks as me & DS found out this year, as we were going round we spotted the other car on the other track, people in both cars were pointing & smiling as though to say *ooh there's another car/track!* It was the second time of the holiday we'd been on it & DS said when we got off it seemed longer

Unlike other rollercoasters with SM we always keep our hands down as I'm paranoid we're going to knock them against the track and get them ripped off or something as it seems so low in places.

I'm not tall by any means (5 ft 5) but I can touch the roof when you go through the tunnel which was slightly off putting.

You are supposed to keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times. I think that includes keeping your arms down.
