I am looking at similar flights on Expedia & the luggage issue is putting me off. These are KLM, but flying on Virgin & Delta planes, hand luggage only, but the ability to add luggage it says.

When I was trying to find out luggage costs, all I could find was £45 a case each way, on Virgin website. As it couldn't find it on KLM's. So for 2 cases I would be looking at £180 I assume.

So does your confirmation give you a Virgin ref.no? Does it not say under your ref.no that your booking includes baggage? I am used to booking with BA/AA & it shows if you have luggage included.

Very interesting. If it’s showing on virgin as Economy classic you should also be able to choose a seat. Can you?

Does the paperwork show a virgin reference number that you can use to log on to the virgin site?

We went virgin delta code share this year Man to Miami via JFK. In thermal flights were with Delta. All was fine going out but coming back I’d paid for an extra bag with delta as that was the 1st leg of the flight and when I got to the airport Virgin refused to accept the bag and said I had to pay again! Because I’d paid Delta it was nothing to do with them.
Big stand up row with them there before I got Virgin Atlantic on the phone who said it was fine and as it was a through flight I should only pay once. It was a nightmare and really stressful only improved by the £80 vouchers they gave us for the flight home to say sorry! 😁
