Couple of nights away from Disney?
My husband and l are visiting Disney for 2 weeks in November, we have visited before and spent a night in Sarasota which was lovely.
We are looking to spend a night or 2 at a beach again and having looked at posts on here thought about St Petes or AMI. Ideally we would like a beach front hotel, but be able to go out in the evening for food/bars etc. We like to mooch AMI is looking favourite, is there a better place/beach area to stay in? Or is it not worth in November? Anyone any tips/suggestions? Thanks |

We stayed at the Grand Plaza for 1 night - and everyone said it was the best part of their holiday - and when are we going back. We went for early dine at Madfish (recommended on here - and cheaper than Bongo's) - wow - just fantastic, and a 1 minute walk from Grand Plaza. We then went and had cocktails at Bongo's and watched the wonderful sunset. We thought the grandchildren would be bored, but they were skipping around on the beach well into the night. It was wonderful.
