Son's 18th, my 40th...Special things to do?

So we're currently waiting for flights to Orlando to be released for a holiday next Summer, however in the mean time I've decided to visit Disneyland Paris too! You're only 40 once right?!

We LOVE all things Disney as a family of 5 and have saved so hard for the Summer holiday next year (we can't afford to go very often) that there is little left in the pot for this break but now it's in my head...

I've decided on a budget apartment in Val d'Europe, driving and using Eurotunnel so that there is more in the pot for 'nice stuff'. Going for 4 nights Oct half term.

Anyway, my question is this: What special occasion experiences, meals etc would people recommend? We've done DLP around 12 times when the kids were younger but not been for a few years so feeling like a newbie! Would like to split our time between Paris and the parks.

We are myself (birthday girl), husband, Son (18 just after we return), his girlfriend (also almost 18, so this will also be her treat), my son 14 (not your typical teen, huge lover of Disney and WWE

) and my daughter who will be turning 9 just after our return (seems to have fallen out of love with anything 'girly' but is a huge Avengers fan).
