Virgin Atlantic headphones

I understand Virgin give out headphones for the ife. Are they over the head ones or the ear buds? Tia

The over the ear type. Not that great really when using I always have to put the subtitles on. Have invested in inexpensive noise cancelling ones so hoping for a better trip this time

Yes they give out over the head earphones but they are very cheap and nasty. The headphone socket is the normal single plug one so you can use most own headphones there including iphone ones etc

As previously said, they are over the ear ones but really rubbish! My mum couldn't hear through them unless she physically held them closed against her ear. Not really practical or comfortable for the length of a whole movie. I had cheap noise cancelling ones and they worked great.

My Wife uses her iPhone ones or also uses the Virgin 'bud ones' that come with the iPad they give you when your IFE isn't working.
We have maybe 3 or 4 packs of them - shows the IFE is broken quite often!

Definitely use your own �10 to �20 will get you something quite good
