Just checked. Flights are out but only on a Sunday from Edinburgh & the villa is booked Sat-Sat & is fully booked so can’t move the dates. Too expensive from Manchester but will look at the other options. Thank you!

I can get jet2 for £1295 from Glasgow. Including petrol, parking & hotel the night before we fly & the night we come back (due back early hours) works out at £1517. Still a lot, but £500 cheaper than Tui. DH is telling me to wait & see if they go down.

I know it’s still a while off yet, but we still have no flights booked! Willing to fly from any airport with any airline. Should I just bite the bullet & book or am I just being impatient?

i read in the Sunday Times today that Jet2 & TUI are loading more flights for next summer to mop up TC passengers - have you looked at Doncaster, East Midlands or Birmingham?

Yes. I’ve looked from all UK airports. Will just have to keep checking.

Yes. Prices flying out aren’t too bad. It’s coming back that’s expensive! They’ve generally been £200-£300 to come home. Just checked & they want £374 to fly back to Manchester!
