Ah so jealous, would have loved to of flown on Concorde!
I grew up under the flight path so had to make do with hearing it everyday at I think it was about 10.30am. Bloody noisy but you did get used to it!

My son did his in the local airport - each half day a different department - from the help desk, to the car park via the runway maintenance team and webmaster!

It was a great insight into how an airport actually operates! I have contacts in the airport which helped but you could try your local one - there is a massive infrastructure behind what you actually see!

Another angle might be your liocalwild life trus if they do things like badger watch ,wildlife , bird watch etc
We had a local bee keeper do a hive watch on you tube it got loads of views so maybe something like that with a social media take
For personal statements for uni outside the normal box

How about something to do with marketing your nearest place as a tourist attraction? Not explaining myself very well nut we have ‘visit York’, might be something similar.

Or how about one of the big train operators?
