Splt stay points and cash ?

We have booked for April/May next year using all our points until June 2020's.

Our 2 DD's have now decided to go in October/November and we have said they can have points for one week, borrowed from 2020/21. If we book a week and then they do a week at the same resort on cash do they have to change rooms or can the two booking be linked?

We�ve done similar before and kept the same room. We couldn�t link both Resorts but asked at checkin. You could also contact Member Services to request keeping the room, giving the cash reservation number.
