£900 for 2 nights at RPR over Easter? Really?!

Never been at that time of year before but is that price normal?! I'm not talking Easter weekend itself but in the UK's Easter school holidays.

Yep, pretty much! - I posted about it a few weeks ago when I discovered it. If you shop at tesco you can reduce the price with vouchers for hotels.com.

I’ve been looking at prices for RPR for 2 nights next August. Went there in 2016 for a night to take advantage of the fast passes and fell in love with the hotel. Back then I paid £220 for the night. But looking now I see it’s around £700 for the two nights. I understand the price has gone up so much because of the weak pound.

Yes, we always use our Tesco vouchers for RPR but it's still a crazy price. SESH, see if you can go later in your trip (August is cheaper from around the 12th/13th) and, if not booking with Tesco vouchers, try Attraction RTickets Direct - they were significantly cheaper for us and there is a £50 off code for Dibbers.

This is hopefully a link to the thread from May when a range of prices were found.

In 2016 we paid £142 for one night (it was a good deal though), it's one heck of a price rise - and the weak pound doesn't make that much difference!

Will deffo take a look. But we have our hands tied around dates now as the villa we’re staying at for the majority of our stay is booked and deposit paid. Has to be right in the school holidays cos our eldest will be going into year 11 and the missus doesn’t want him missing a minute. 😩

I was simply offering an explanation as to why the prices had gone up so much based on conversations I’ve had with friends on the subject. So what’s your explanation as to why prices have increased so much over such a relatively short time?

The weak pound has added 20% to the cost since 2016. So in this example the two day stay would be £750 not £900
