Any ideas for good value cheap eats for family weekend in London? We’re now on a budget as daughter just agreed sale on a house!

That depends really on your location and the type of food you eat. London is really neighbourhoods and areas all joined up to make a big city. Each area generally has a local speciality and then various chain restaurants.

If you give us an idea of the type of food and the general area / location we can then give you advice

We are staying near Clapham junction and have a 5 year old with us, so looking for plainer food- nothing too exotic!

Take a look at Clapham Junction High Street on Google Maps. There is a good few pubs and bars, as well as Pizza Express, KFC, McDonalds, Nandos. There is also Siansburys, Asda's and Wholefoods supermarkets depending on where you are staying, you might want to buy food for your room
