Quick Tips for Parks
I remember when I first joined the Dibb there was a great thread full of general tips for the parks. Not which rides to do, but general things. I can't find it now (it was over 10 years ago now though) so thought I'd start another.
My first tip is only really useful for summer visits but I might use it in February: Buy some large ziplock bags (either in the UK or from Walmart/Walgreens, etc.) and on the morning before you head to the parks, fill them with ice. Put them, and a few bottles of water, in a bag in the boot of your hire car. Leave them there while you're in the parks and you have some nice cool water when you get back to the car.Anyone else have some tips for the parks?

We always take some of those super concentrated small bottles of squash with us to add to the tap water as we don't like the taste of Florida water. We fill up our water bottle from the drinking fountains, add a couple of drops of squash and save money on buying soft drinks.

we also do the same with the drinks but we get a glass of iced water from the cs locations so it stays cool for longer.
take a small flannel with you and put some of the ice in it and use it to wipe over face, neck, arms to keep cool take a plastic bag and keep things like phone, wallet etc in them in your bag/purse - if you get caught in a sudden downpour everything will get soaked through but they will stay dry. I always take a spare pair of shorts and pants and flipflops if I am planning on doing any water rides, i get them all done and then change as I cant stand wearing wet bottoms and the chafing is an issue too! speaking of chafing - cycle shorts or similar under skirts/dresses help with that
