Really loving reading your trip report, we are here now and had some similar days. Thanks for sharing lots of great tips! Off to check in at the campsite today but hoping the weather holds out after last nights rain! X

I know - what was that like?!

Which park you heading to? We are doing animal kingdom but a bit later so those not feeling well can rest a bit. I’m still praying for a last minute FOP FP. Just keep checking, just keep checking...

Horrendous! We were at DC yesterday then drove up to Premium IDrive outlets and rain started just as we parked. It took an hour to get back to Highlands Reserve. Luckily DH was driving but he wasn’t best pleased as it had been a nightmare to park! He says he’s only going back to outlets at Vineland and we need to get there early! 🙈 we are going to AK today too but giving everyone a bit of a long lie as they are starting to tire. We have FOP fast passes for 5.55pm and after reading your trip report I moved Everest and safari fast passes to the afternoon so plan is to check in at campsite about 1.30pm then head to AK and see Lion King show. Thanks again! X

Oh fab having FOP! Lucky you.

I am going to check the queues when we’re are there as I think I would queue for anything under 2 hours for it. I always swore I would never queue 2 hours for anything but it really is that good.

We will be there at the same time then. If you see us say hi!

Will do! We are considering going back to Universal to queue for Hagrid but like you originally said no chance would we queue for over 2 hours for anything! Keeping fingers crossed weather improves but forecast for next few days isn’t promising. Have a fab day and hope the family feel better soon. X

Can I ask where you got your cool bag backpack from. Although DH doesn't want to be a pack mule, it looks such a good idea

Hi - sorry I’ve just seen this.

Ours was from decathlon in 2016 but apparently they don’t stock it anymore, as someone else asked me and tried to find it.

Helen, I love reading all your reports! I'm trying to get all your tips together to use while I plan for 2020. Quick question, do you just book the one night at the campsite but not actually stay?
Ta, Julie.
