Free booking with Disney

booked mine and my wifes holiday with Disney with one person in the party and will add the wife at a later date.
deposit was £50 and via top cash back you get 3.5% back

holiday is not until next sept 2020 and have just been paid £70.68 from the cash back site.

good way of not losing your deposit and being £20 in profit

Yes we do this every year. The Quidco cash back covers any deposit we would lose if we cancelled.

I suppose you could book 3 holidays using this method for the same dates

value, moderate or deluxe

if you originally booked a deluxe or moderate and decided to downgrade nearer the time you wouldn't get charged the fee by Disney unlike being able to upgrade without the £50 fee

That’s maybe taking it too far! We go through Quidco for the cash back. I don’t intend to cancel but it’s good to know I wouldn’t lose anything if I did. I have plans for the money!

I went through top cashback for our booking and am waiting for my £218 cashback to become payable. Don’t know how long it takes though

We booked BA fly drive via Quidco and received the money about 9 months after we returned home .

Surely the cashback would be clawed back if the holiday was cancelled? I know they can't take it out your bank account if you've already cashed it in, but your quidco account would sit in debit I'd imagine.

I've never done it myself on a Disney holiday, but I have had cashback on something that I subsequently returned and it was clawed back.

Just had a read and there doesn't seem to be a consistent approach across retailers, so it seems some let you keep the cashback, didn't realise that.
