disneyland hotel with free half board
I understand this is the premium half board but what happens at breakfast? Do you get a voucher for the hotel buffet or is that excluded being "free" half board? Are you allowed to use the "free" half board to book plaza gardens character breakfast?
Regarding the dinner voucher, can you use that one to do inventions (character sitting)/auberge? Is the booking for Plaza gardens/inventions/auberge 60 days before arrival? I'm a bit rusty with DLP and I feel a pre christmas treat being booked... |

Free half board can be used for the hotel buffet or Plaza Gardens character breakfast. You should be able to book one Plaza Gardens slot in advance and any subsequent visits can only be booked three days ahead.
Your lunch/dinner voucher can be used at Inventions and ADC and these can be booked 60 days ahead. Hope that helps. |

Good stuff. The website still has the old 'hotel buffet may be substituted for park breakfast counter service'
Id be pretty ≈≈≈≈≈≈ if i was stopping at the pink palace and had a croissant instead of the 'eat up kids we arent feeding you lunch' buffet. |

We've just come home from staying here with free half board. Your meal plans are on your magic cards so you need to hand these in to "pay". For breakfast we just turned up and used either Inventions side or California grill side (this side much quieter if can get in here). We pre booked all our meals and used it for Auberge, Inventions (did lunch sitting with characters because fully booked until 9pm all week for evening meal), Buffalo Bills and plaza gardens.

Fantastic. Are the dinner vouchers date stamped? We are going wed to sat (moving to val d europe saturday night for a few days christmas shopping, well, snagging much cheaper flights from monday evening...)
Could we use a meal voucher on the check out day (saturday)? We plan to book auberge for saturday afternoon if this is the case as the crowds on saturday will be far heavier than the wed-fri. In all our trips to dlp this would be the first time we have had half board! Now to break it to the OH upon getting back from work tomorrow that ive booked pink palace and flights Edited at 12:47 PM. |

Meal vouchers are not used now it's all on your ticket. You get meal voucher per person per night of stay so a 3n4d trip means 3 meals (lunch or evening) and 3 breakfast meals. If you want to use on Saturday lunch you would need to miss one another day. We did sun-thurs so had Sun,Mon, Tues night meals and wed lunch and then left Thurs afternoon.

Your meal credits will be valid from check in date to check out date, so you can decide which three days to use your credits on. We’ve done the same and just paid OOP for a meal that doesn’t fit our dining plan in the middle of our holiday (eg Rainforest Cafe that’s not included on any meal plan, or a standard buffet when on the Premium Plan, etc.)

Aha so the breakfast and dinner voucher as valid as long as your ticket is valid. Excellent. A three night stay will have 4 days in the park bit 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners. The breakfasts are fixed days of course bit the vouchers can be used on any of the valid 4 park days. Nice.
We land on wednesday but will be happy to not use our first night voucher and save this till the day we check out. Thanks. Edited at 06:49 PM. |

Welcome to the Dibb! If you haven’t already, it might be a good idea to start your own new thread to get tips and advice. Is there anything in particular you want to know about? Restaurant recommendations? Character dining? Rides and fast passes? Shows? There are lots of people around to help out!
