Here now - gas?
We are in Orlando and due to travel to Tampa first thing Monday. (Not to fly, flying Wed) we are really low on gas! Anyone seen any? We are by Universal. They all have signs saying empty, we've tried at least 10 today.
Will they restock tomorrow? We should be loads better off in Tampa we just need to be able to get there.

Who knows if they will restock.
Best place to find fuel is out of the tourist area but you have to take the gamble of using fuel to do this. We found it very easy down the 27 on September 10 2017 Hurricane Irma, all the tourist area gas stations have locals plus tourists hitting them. But I think you have left it very late to be thinking about it now once you knew there was a sign of this you should of kept the car full.

The Walmart near Windsor Hills still looks to have fuel, as do most of the gas stations along this end of the 192, we filled up at Wawa yesterday

I'm down at Champions gate, there are two garages that have run out in the area, we went over to the 27 and fuelled up no problem.
As already posted, you need to get out of the main tourist areas, but the problem is using fuel to get it. We have a drive to Atlanta, but it was the best option for us.

The station in front of the Publix on the 192 has fuel. It’s just near marker 8 (Celebration).
We’ve just been past and no queues either. Noticed some stations had massively increased their prices today though - saw a Shell station that was 6.99! Think Walmart also has fuel - same side as Publix but further along the 192 west. Edited at 12:34 AM. |
