I just did a random search on villa plus , 4 adults to Majorca in June , cheapest was £1400 for the week ( total , not per person ) , in late July this was £2000
I couldn’t justify £4000 just on accommodation for a fortnight

We were really lucky this year. We only booked a few weeks before and paid £700 for a 3 bed detached villa, 3 bathrooms, private pool, pool table and table tennis. I don’t know if it had been a cancellation but the price for the villa is a lot more next year. I hadn’t heard of Villaplus before but we were very happy with them. We stayed in Villa Pebbles in Playa Blanca.

We do like villas/apartments because we like the freedom.

I plan on getting up about 5.30 because that is when I have previously managed to pick decent bargains. I need to have a good think today about where we want to go though !

I found last time the flights went on gradually over about an hour.

I was holding off booking with Jet2 to Faro in the summer to see what Easyjet was offering but I've just gone on to Jet2 and their prices have dropped by £70 (per couple). Wonder if this is because easyjet are about to release their prices. I don't know whether to go for it or wait.

I’ve set my alarm for 5.30.
I want Majorca flights for April and Paris flights for August.
I am probably going to book through easyJet holidays though for £60 pp deposit. They use booking.com to make up there packages therefore making them ATOL protected etc so will do that.

I tend to use the app. Not sure if they are cheaper but works ok for us.
