Plaza Gardens Character Breakfast

We are staying at DLH in Dec with the free HB dining plan.

Can we use the breakfast 'voucher' for the character breakfast at Plaza Gardens one morning instead of in the DLH? Also does anyone know the sitting times Plaza Gardens offer for breakfast?

The seating times for Plaza Gardens are 8.15am and 9.45am - you can use the breakfast from the premium half board for this breakfast yes, you should be able to book one breakfast 60 days in advance. Any subsequent character breakfasts would then need to be booked up to 3 days in advance.

One thing I will say is that whatever sitting you choose make sure you are there in good time as there was a pretty sizeable queue when we went in April which meant we were seated pretty late.

Well we were hoping to do breakfast before or after EMH whether in hotel or not so this may work out... Does breakfast and character end at a particular time - i.e does it go against you if you get in there late because you're at the back of the queue (as in if I turn up between 9.45-10)?

Kind of -
Each sitting comes to an end and the characters disappear while the restaurant is made ready for the next seating, but it probably wouldn’t make much difference if you were just a bit late arriving. We turned up 5 mins early for our sitting, and joined the back of a long queue, so we were fairly late entering the restaurant.

Everyone gets one visit from each character (unlike Inventions, where they come round multiple times), so you’re not missing out on any extra character interaction by going in slightly late. We found we had plenty of time to fill up at the buffet, including going back for more, so there’s still plenty of time to get your food too.

Ok, thanks for this. How long would you allow for the whole experience?

I think we were in there for just over an hour, but it was closer to an hour and a half including queuing and paying, etc. Lots of people had already left before we did, so some guests definitely spend less time there.
