We have got Idp. Just need a picture and a trip to a proper post office, they advertise on line which ones do it, and they just literally write one out for under £10 each. We return on 1 November but annoying booked 12 months ago, and would have gone home a day early if so as have needed a new passport for one son too!

As a precaution, I'd get an International Driving Permit, and Green Card for insurance. Travel insurance for medical might not be a bad idea as well.

Don't forget your GB sticker, even if your car has the GB/Euro logo on its number plates.

We decided that we’re going to go after Christmas instead but thanks for all of your help. I will probably need to still apply for all of these permits anyway depending on the outcome!
