Barcelona or dubrovnik

As Easyjet wasn’t kind on prices to split for my dates in july

need to think again. Trying to go cheap due to already having a summer hols booked so now looking at April but know the weather can be temperamental so there needs to be enough stuff to do.
Where would you guys suggest (we will have children with us). I thought of the above destinations but anywhere else you can suggest

I cant even get prices for easyjet summer 2020 ! just keeps spinning
the advice I was given for Dubrovnik is don't go on the days a cruise ship is in dock as its too busy, Barcelona has a big problem with pick pockets so stay safe

Salsburg is lovely. Plenty to see and do.
