Hampton by Hilton at LGW with Avios

I'm sure I read here recently that you could book this hotel with Avios points - and I'm sure I checked it too and got a quote. But when I searched just now (via the BA Exec Club site) it's not coming up at all...

I used Avios and stayed here 2 years ago if you can�t see it try calling them.

Aha - does the Hampton maybe not have family rooms? I accidentally just typed in 2 adults (forgetting the 2 kids as well) and it came up then. So perhaps they just don't have family rooms (or at least none available)?

The rooms are normally a double bed and a sofa which converts to a bed, so in theory you could fit a family of 4 assuming 2 to each bed.

Might be worth calling?

It shows as available when I want a room for 2 adults but unavailable as a room for 2ad & 2c...

It's because the room doesn't support 2A + 2C and is limited to sleeping 3. If you go onto the Hilton website you can do a search for 1 adult and then see how many the room sleeps. Therefore the OP needs two rooms at that hotel.
