If you are planning on going down the day before you should be able to get a train down for £29 leaving around mid morning/lunchtime. Coming back if you travel between 3 and 7pm you will pay more due to peak time out of London but either side of this you should be able to get a ticket for under £40 if you book as soon as they are released.

If you have a look at Trainline it will tell you where the advance tickets are up to, and email you when they are out if that isn’t currently now
