Any problems using a Sainsburys currency card in Orlando?

Hi...I always take a FairFx currency card + cash + Halifax Clarity credit card, but since reading on here that some have had problems using their FairFX card, I've also now got a Sainsbury's card. Just wanted to know if anyone has had problems using their Sainsburys currency card in Orlando. Thanks

We have the Sainsbury currency card and have used it many times in Orlando with no problems. Just back from LA and used it there too with no issue

We've used ours all round Europe, but never America, before we switched to Starling. Never had an issue. Just remember you won't be able to use a self-service fuel station (if these even exist in Florida!)

I used one to pay for all my purchases at WDW. I could not link it to my magic band though, be warned. I had to use another card as guarantee but went to settle the balance with the Sainsbury's currency card at reception every few days.

To put a balance on the FairFX “issues”, we have used the FairFX cards for many many years with no problems whatsoever. We just never use them for fuel, and pay tips in restaurants in cash. Other than that tweaks we use it everywhere, never refused, never blocked.

But please do what you are most comfortable with, just posted our experience for your reference.

We are considering using a Sainsbury’s card for next year, we usually go with cash but like the idea of being able to carry around a card which can be used instead, are there any places that don’t accept the card other than those mentioned above?

We have used our FairFX card on both coasts of the States and never had an issue.
