Hiring car at Universal resort

Hi. Has anyone hired a car from the resort? We have decided not to hire a car for the whole time but fancy maybe 2 day hire for visit to a beach and Busch Gardens. I was wondering if it was a silly plan and would cost too much?

Thanks in advance

Hi. I think it's a good idea due to the fact they charge a parking fee. If you are hitting Universal and wont be going elsewhere for a while it makes sense not to have a car just sat there and costing money
Quite a few on here do it this way
You have a rental desk onsite and other suppliers about 10 or 15 mins away.

Thank you. I thought the same as the hotel charges 20 dollars a day to stay onsite. We plan to get uber to Seaworld and Discovery Cove but want this visit to be a little more chilled. I think it will be nice to have less driving.

Thank you for replying
