I for one won't miss the Great Movie Ride whether there's something in it's place or not. Can't wait for this stuff to happen.

How much extra time did you expect The Great Movie Ride to keep you entertained?

So many reasons to return!

I will definitely miss the Great Movie Ride - its always been one of my favourites but really like the sound of what will be in its place

haha, well with the queue and such, 2 hours and 40 mins it would take to complete the park, rather than 2 hours. haha

But nah, my point was, in a park that doesnt have much anyway, to close another ride before they open Toy Story land, just seems slighty daft

I think it's just the final straw, as it were, for some - especially if you're not a Star Wars fan. They got rid of a lot of attractions last year and only replaced them with Star Wars stuff. Now they are getting rid of something else without replacing it with anything at the same time.

I'm sure DHS will be great in 2019. But a theme park with only 4 rides does, on the face of it, sound like a rather poor theme park to me.

Yeah, I get that. The comment was meant tongue in cheek, but realistically if its a 2 hours park for the poster without GMR its at best 2.5 hrs with it.

Although I agree about the queue comment! We waited for a ridiculously long time last year in a queue that was supposed to be 10 mins. It felt like Disney was trying to get people to fall out of love with the GMR before closing it!

Aside from the debate on the current lack of rides at HS the new attractions sound awesome. We will miss them all on our next trip (and the GMR will be closed by then ) but I guess it'll help to motivate us to start saving again as soon as we get home!

But TSM TOT and RRC are still the only rides worth doing at Disney (along with Everest) so still worth a visit
