Our eldest DD stayed there.

We stayed at The Cosmopolitan when ours were 13 & 16, ideal spot as right on the strip with a Mcdonalds and the Miracle Mile Shopping Mall opposite. I must admit I was very wary about letting them venture out alone but we were staying their with friends who live in Seattle and go to Vegas quite a lot (its a bit like a weekend in Blackpool for them lol) and their 2 kids were 14 & 15. So they did go to the mall a few times on their own and the said they felt quite safe.

The signature is good as there is no Casino, each tower has it's own pool and the MGM pool is easy to get to with no need to go near the Casino, as is the MGM food court. It's all in the MGM bubble so very safe as well.

My DS14 has stayed in: Elara, Wynn, Bellagio, Monte Carlo (now something else). All have been fine as long as he didn’t linger when walking through the casino.

My kids have stopped in loads of vegas hotels , Excalibur, Nyny ,planet hollywood, Tropicana, Flamingo , South Point etc , many of them multiple times .

This is from 6mths to 20.

Whilst none are particularly geared up for kids like European hotels are they are welcomed in every hotel , they just cant be alone on the casino floor or even stop on it for a minute .

We took our 15yo DD and her friend in Feb and stayed in the Vdara. It is a beautiful hotel to stay in and they loved the fact that it was non smoking and the rooms were great. It is a really different trip with kids as the guys that normally hassle you the strip with the cards and flyers leave you well alone, its worth taking a kid for this reason alone lol
