I agree with this, I went after several previous visits to WDW. It was the best day of my life (and I’ve had 2 wedding days :pgig)

We are looking to book for our August trip and at the moment they are only booking up to end June so must be about 6 months in advance. You can see the dates on the website so can work out when your window opens.

Keen to do this on our trip this year- we've been lots of times but never done any of the tours. However just realised it is 16+ - my daughter will be 4 weeks short of her 16th birthday- does anyone know if there is any flexibility?

I think they're quite strict on age limits for the tours.

I booked 2 weeks ago for the 8am slot on June 11th.

The tour can only be booked over the telephone. It was very simple to do and the CM was really helpful and talkative!
They are, however, very keen to emphasise NO mobile phones, photos or video - not that its a problem, as I want to enjoy the tour and listen to everything... not be bothered, fiddling with a caamera for pics! But you can imagine that some plonkers will still try!

As others have said, if you have been to WDW before, go for it.

Our son is a wheelchair user and he accessed all of the tour but we did advise them when we booked. We noticed that throughout the tour the Cast Member always used the dropped kerbs rather than stepping off randomly which we appreciated. When we went for lunch the rest of the party were shown to seating upstairs and then without any fuss myself and my son were taken to a service lift and then rejoined the group. Definitely recommend this tour.

We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour in 2003 so it might have changed since then. If its still the same they warned us that the illusion of the park can be changed because you will see behind the scenes. Our tour was split between walking through the park with the guide pointing out things the average visitor would miss, going on a few rides (haunted mansion and pirates from memory), lunch and behind the stage as they called it. We went through a cast member door in one of the shops and on the other side you saw behind the scenes of main street (the building scenery including scaffolding like a movie set), staff getting into costume and some of the service tunnels used to take goods into different areas of the park.

We really enjoyed it and got a souvenir "keys to the kingdom" pin badge.
