Enjoyed last night's second episode, looking forward to last part but agree with others an awful lot to be put into one hour... That's if it sticks to the traditional tale?

I agree - the second episode was better than the first. Things actually happened.

I think that will be a good thing. The main issue I have with this is that it's a bit slow at times. Each episode could do with editing down from 1 hour to 45 minutes or so.

I also agree that it can be difficult to hear what's being said at times. I wish they would project more.

What is it with the BBC?
I am fed up with having to constantly alter the TV volume as we just can't hear or even understand what certain actors are saying

Twice last night we had to wind it back to listen to a certain bit of speech.
Not good.

That’s why we gave up with Dark Materials.

Episode 3. Wow, interesting beginning. Didn’t think it would end up like that

I’ve dipped in and out whilst hubby’s watched it. I think that Guy Pierce sounds like Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders at times, esp. in the more serious scenes.

Mmm. Different but not sure if I think it was worth watching. Would I recommend it?
Don’t think so.
