Aquatica Cabanas ?

Has anyone rented a cabana at Aquatica ? We love aquatica but always find a lull in the day where we need to escape the sun and heat and just somewhere to relax. TBH in all the years we are going I never really took notice of the cabanas there so I'm trying to decide looking at aquatica's site which one is best for us, I've narrowed it down to 2 the Beach front cabana and the the Premium cabana. Which one would you recommend ? we need to take into consideration that we have a child in a wheelchair so not something based on sand as his wheelchair won't wheel through it. My eldest lives in the wave pool so something near that would be ideal, we're not super private so don't mind if it's not 'hidden'. Trying to locate them on the map is prooving difficult, the maps aren't great that are online.

We hired one a few years ago, they were a fraction of the cost of the Disney ones. We had one just to the right of the wave pool. It cost us about $60

We hired one last time we were there think we were in a roas rapid one. We found it a long walk to get to the cabana and then back out for our FIL who has some mobility issues it was a good job he wasnt in his chair that day as not sure how we would of accessed it.

The flooring from what I can remember was like decking. One little thing we found was that there was only 2 sun loungers then 2 small chairs (the ones that look like childrens chairs) even though 6 of us were booked in. We could get extra small chairs but no extra sunloungers which was a shame.

For the food there was a little place we could place our order and a time and the lovely attendant brought it to the cabana for us.

floridasara :That's brilliant, we normally sit right in front of the wave pool, that's brill there are cabanas there, I always wondered what was down that way, they would be ideal as there will always be at 1-2 of the four of us in the pools, it looks perfect to get the wheelchair to too, it can be a nightmare in the sand.

scl: that is good to know that there are some with a good walking distance, I will make sure when booking that they know we have a wheelchair
