Better call Saul?

Hi all,

So I’ve just finished a marathon run of watching all of Breaking Bad and the Breaking Bad movie, based on repeated recommendations on here.

Absolutely loved Breaking Bad, but it was definitely all about Jessie for me - loved his character! So will Better call Saul be worth watching for me? Not sure it’ll feel the same without Jessie!

Better Call Saul is brilliant. It’s so worth watching. Prequels and spin offs aren’t always great but this one is It has Mike in it. Need I say more.

We loved Better Call Saul. No Jessie but other familiar characters. It’s well worth a watch.

We love BCS too. It has a different vibe to it than BB but the characters are brilliant and we just love the BB references that crop up from time to time, and as another poster said, Mike's in it as well as Saul so that's all good man(see what I did there).

The latest series starts in Feb so now would be a good time to binge the earlier seasons

It’s great, but very slow burn so stick with it. When Gus Fring arrives (S 3 I think) and it gives you all the backstory of how they build the meth lab etc, it’s particularly good. There’s also the new BB film on there.

We’re like you started BB late & watched it all within a month with the movie too! We’re half way through BCS & love it! He is a brilliant character, loved him in BB & love him more in this!

BCS is brilliant but as above its a very very slow burner, there is a lot of background to Jimmy/Saul story..

I didnt know the new season was soon, thank goodness! Its brilliant, gives so much background and links to breaking bad, a must see.
