Need some help and advise mum has cancer diagnosis

Oh that's excellent news. Have been thinking about you all. Please tell her to just try her dentures for just 5 mins at a time for the time being, it will be difficult to start with but slowly slowly will do it. The fact she is already talking about trying is fantastic determination- so happy for her. Hopefully good news as regards the results soon. Very Happy Christmas to you and your mum.

Just got back from Mum's appointment. The tumor was 12 mm by 5 mm deep the consultant is confident he got it all but was unhappy about a small margin on one side of the removal. Mum is therefore to have six weekly check-ups for the foreseeable future and will be re-scanned in 12 weeks time. This is to keep a check on the lymph nodes in the neck and if anything shows of concern he will remove the lymph nodes in the neck but all in all he is feeling very positive about the outcome at this stage no need for any radio or chemotherapy.
One very relieved and happy mum and also Dad can now stop worrying possibly... once again thank you for all your support and advice x x
