Disney placeholder
We booked a placeholder on our recent cruise, just dropped the form in the box on the ship. They’ve charged my credit card with the $250 but I’ve not had anything else. Will they email me a code or something to get my discount? How long will it take? Or should I have had something by now, we got off the boat two weeks ago.

I would email DCL and ask them for your reference. Assuming you didn't use a travel agent you should have had an email by now especially if they have charged your card. It may have gone to the wrong email address or bounced back for some reason and that way you can make sure you have it. You get a full reference which looks like a cruise booking which you then can transfer to any cruise.
