Another wall down
The steel joist in place of the external wall to support the 2 storey extension was going in today ...
 Ended up having to knock the whole wall down (wasn’t due to be done until the extension was fully built) as the machine to lift the joist wouldn’t fit with the wall there!  They’ve built us a stud wall in its place & oh the dust from the knock down (was a last minute decision so I didn’t have time to clear stuff)!

Recent photos .. starting to see what’s what
Outbuilding Gym Room
 Looking at the back of the house from next to the outbuilding  Narrow opening is window to small family room & boards on top waiting for roof lanterns to be delivered & fitted  New part of dining room with pocket doorway gap to new family room  New Study window next to new long waited for alleyway YaY!  New Study  New Utility room  All external windows & doors have been ordered & are UPVC anthracite grey outside, white inside bar gym room which is grey in & out. Front of house windows are Georgian barred with lead. Gym doors are bifold. Dining room to garden stack n slides. Front door anthracite grey composite. Utility to alley aluminium frame with full glass insert. Porch door not yet ordered but will be the same as utility but they’re not ordering it as the builder hasn’t confirmed sizes yet!

I shall add floor plans to the first post when I next get my folder out to take a picture of them.
All on time so far & had to dip into contingency for a new rainwater soakaway at the front & extra deep foundations out the back. Pleased to hear someone thinks it looks massive as all looking rather small to me & im panicking I’m not going to fit everything I want into each room though builders keep telling me it’s all big enough!
