Hotel temperature
Random question I realise but I am a bit stressy lol.
What temperature are the rooms at sequoia lodge in November? Not sure what weight sleeping bag and pjs to take for my 4 month old.

Like all European hotel rooms, those at DLP are pretty warm. The air con is not US-style ‘freezing’ but much more gentle.

We always find the rooms to be quite warm, not unbearably so but definitely more snug than I'd normally have at home.

There are also AC controls in your room so you can alter the temperature to suit your family.

I stayed in Sequoia Lodge a few Decembers ago, and took a onesie, cos well, it was winter. Biggest mistake of my life. Didn't sleep a wink that first night. Ended up spending out €25 on some normal (Disney) cotton pjs. Was perfectly able to sleep after that. 😂😂 x

Our Newport Bay room was so warm we couldn’t sleep. The air con controls didn’t work and we had to keep calling switchboard to get to adjust it. If you’re going in a summer month then best to check this before you go to bed on your first night.

Same here - we've been to Newport and Sequoia both in winter months (Nov and Feb) and it was roasting in our hotel rooms with 3 adults and a baby! I'd brought the winter sleeping bag for my baby the first time, as well as winter PJs for myself, and so regretted it! Baby was way too warm and sweaty, and I ended up sleeping in my underwear, I was so hot! The second time I took lighter/summer PJs and sleeping bags with just in case, and ended up never touching the winter stuff. DLP hotel rooms are definitely WARM at night!
