Caring for Giants - Animal Kingdom Tour

Has anybody done this behind the scenes with elephants tour? What did you think? It's about Ł100 for the four of us for an hour's tour, but one of my boys is elephant mad - is it any good?

We went on this tour as a surprise for my DH who absolutely loves elephants. Have to say it was a big hit and we enjoyed every minute.

It was a small group and therefore made everyone feel included and free to ask questions.

You are taken behind the scenes and have some terrific photo opportunities and we learnt a lot about elephants that we didn’t know.

Even though we have done this tour, I would be happy to do it again in a few years.

I fancy doing that! When is the best time in the day to go. We will be there in July so will be hot and humid... any thoughts much appreciated

We really enjoyed it last year and for the price it's a fab way to spend an hour or so. There were 8 on our tour including us, and able to chat to the guides and get great views.

We went on the first tour of the day - all the elephants were visible and we weren't clock watching during the day waiting to go for the tour.

It’s great to see elephants up close, all the money goes to Disney’s conservation fund too.
It’s not an amazing tour, but we did enjoy it...

We did it last year and really enjoyed it! I booked it for my sister as a surprise for her birthday as she loves elephants and she loved it.

Well worth it.
My daughter and I did it a couple of years ago. I think it was July, middle of the day and we were the only 2. Had a great experience, great photos and CM’s were happy to answer questions about elephants and generally about AK
Would do it again definitely.
