Maybe not opening till October

Just spoke to someone from Eurostar about tickets for August and the person told me they have been told Disney Paris not opening till October.
Seemed quite confident with the information they had in the office.
Hopefully wrong info and we will have to wait I suppose for official announcement.

Wow! That is crazy. Did Eurostar say anything about the direct Disney service returning this year at all?

I wouldn’t believe anything that doesn’t come direct from DLP.

(Although to be selfish, that would mean our annual passes get extended to winter so that would benefit us!)

I would be extremely surprised if that were true (although obviously its not impossible).
Looking less likely there'll be any good deals released for next year, I don't think they'll need anything to pull the crowds in there'll be so many people waiting to come back.

We're still hoping for May 2022.

Seems highly unlikely to me given that France are starting to ease their lockdown restrictions this week.

The Disney service is currently bookable from July but obviously they could still cancel trains if Europe doesn't open up enough by then.

I went to change my tickets booked direct to Paris to DLP
The clerk basically told me it was a waste of time as they had information that the park will not open till October.
Maybe they have the info to schedule services.
The trains were still running on the system and timetable To DLP but I was basically put off exchanging. Might of been a fob off but it did not seem so as she was happy to rebook my tickets to another date or refund me.
Basically advised to wait for the announcement then rebook. In the meantime I can get a refund or keep rebooking original ticket.(already rebooked 3 times)

Just to be clear this was the opinion of the euro star staff. Don’t want you to ruin your plans just yet.

Just to say, you don’t need to change the Eurostar. It is easy to get to DLP from Gare du Nord, just 45 min on the RER.

October is a long way off.
I’m doubtful for an opening this summer due to the way Macron is handling the Covid situation in France and now that part of DLP has recently been set up as a mass vaccination centre and the Seine et Marne department is currently still one of the worst Covid affected areas in France with around 335 cases per 100,000 (UK average is 22 per 100,000) I wouldn’t be surprised.
