Mobile Holiday woe/ideas please

Next March is a big birthday.
Our original plan of Norway cruise is of course off.
Then I planned Iceland but daughter 14 is having a hard time currently and now I don’t feel we can leave her (with family)
Then I thought fine, let’s do Disneyland again. It’s always fun, easy and daughter would be safer with us.
My normally positive hubby is not on board with this as says we have done Disney loads including Florida last Feb. He said my trip should be special and what I want to do, not what’s easy for the rest of the family. He also pointed out that daughter sulked for most of our Florida holiday 😏

Now I’m thinking of other ideas. Ideally in Europe. It can only be 4 days due to kids schooling. Which is why I thought DLP would be easy.
We’ve done most of Europe already.

I don’t even know what I’m asking tbh. I think I am just moaning for the sake of it.

Any suggestions greatly received

There’s other theme parks in Europe , have you done them ?
Perhaps a trip to Salou , Sun and theme park ?
A fourteen year old is going to sulk , I wouldn’t let that influence your choice , if they want to sulk they will

Thanks, whilst we love DLP and WDW we don’t do big rides so none of us would particularly enjoy it 😂

You say you've done most of Europe already? Which were your favourite places? What sort of places do YOU like?

I could suggest some places but if you've already been to most places I'll probably just suggest where you've already been!

If you were thinking of Norway and Iceland, what about Stockholm? 4 nights would be just about right there. Not sure what weather would be like in March. We went for New Year and it was lovely in the snow.

Why is the idea of a cruise off? They are up and running again by then

when we are at a holiday impasse, we write down what we want from a holiday and what we dont want. set the duration and draw a circle of flight time.

4 days will get you a semi sun in the canaries. There are some lovely hotels and beaches in gran canaria. Prague is cold but has a nice vibe and plenty to sightsee. River cruises might be a bridge to a larger cruise, although a Fjord cruise might be cold and wet. DLP is a little marmite (IMHO), we are giving DLP a miss as it isnt 'Disney' enough for us at the moment (fireworks, parades, meet n greet, castle refurb, restaurant closures, etc etc).

With only 4 days, then you would want presumably to pick a location where travel to and from the airport is minimised.. in order to maximise the time spent enjoying the vacation/break.

I know (clever me) that Boston is not in Europe, but have you looked at it?

Whilst it is a 7 hour flight from London, the airport is just across the water from the rather compact City Centre. It is an absolutely stunning city and in that 4 days, you could..
Walk the Freedom Trail.
See Harvard.
Go Whale watching (great trip out of the harbour to get there).
Go on a sunset cruise round the harbour.
See the birthplace of the revolution and also the scene of the massacre.
Go to the Boston Tea Party.
Relax in the ‘Cheers’ bar.

It is my no1 USA City along with the rather more distant San Diego. You wouldn’t even need a car!

You can find detail of some of it in my trip report link in my signature.

Can’t your 14 year old go to Iceland with you?
My daughter was that age when we took her and she says it’s her favourite place

I love this idea but if the OP is travelling in March it is not a great time to be in Boston. When I lived there March could bring mountains of snow, frigid cold or just wet.
