Crossroads works, how long?

I keep seeing mentions about the crossroads area being demolished etc, what is being done and how long is work planned to last for?

It's being bulldozed and there will be a new ramp from the I4 direct to Disney springs, been on off for a few years but with covid hitting the restaurants, I believe all have now closed and work will begin soon. Seems a shame, some nice restaurants there including chevys.

I think the shops and eateries were offered a good amount of financial incentive to pack up and go

They have not all closed yet. I just checked and the 3 I clicked on are still open. There are no signs of the work starting yet.
