Need help with ideas for a week at the beach

Whilst I’m feeling more confident that our august trip will go ahead, I’m still very unsure that the cruise for the last week will go.

I want to book something for that last week as a backup just incase. It needs to be fully cancellable but I don’t mind paying in full up front.

We’ll be at universal for the first two weeks and we’re flying home from Miami so that rules out Clearwater etc. We already have Naples booked for October too.

So we’d really be looking at the East coast and down into the keys.

Would love some recommendations.

We love Cocoa beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood beach, not so keen on Miami itself. I’ve been looking at Hawks Key on the keys which looks amazing! Margaritaville in Hollywood beach is gorgeous but the resort fees are quite high! We love the east coast.

Although, you could look at Anna Maria or even Naples etc and just cut across to fly home from Miami, it’s still about 4 hours from Miami like Orlando.

If you want to be within 2 hours of Miami airport you should look south of Fort Myers on the Gulf Coast and south of Vero Beach on the Atlantic coast.

It depends how busy you want it.
