Will we need express passes for Universal if we have a disability access pass

We are booking a villa for a fortnight over October half term 2022. Our youngest, who'll be 11, has ASD and other conditions so we plan to ask for a DAS pass at Disney and Universal.

Last time we only did Disney and just used Fast Passes and EMH. This time we'll have the adult kids with us too, and I'm wondering whether to book a night at Hard Rock or Royal Pacific Hotel for £275 to get five express passes (saving £75), and buy an extra pass for our sixth person, or whether we will be able to ride everything over three days using the Universal DAS pass equivalent. Our ASD son is adventurous and loves big rides, but the older kids may want to go on the big coasters more than he does so the paid for passes would give them flexibility.

Your advice would be much appreciated.

It is only your last sentance that makes me think you would benefit from Express Passes. If you were always staying together I would have said you would be fine with just the disability pass over 3 days especially as weekdays in October shouldn't be too busy.

I agree as long as you are want to ride then the DAS should be enough. We use it last time and many of the attractions where walk on as the queue was less 20 mins. The pass was a godsend for the Hagrids' coaster as otherwise we would never of got to ride it.

The older kids may well benefit from making use of the Single Rider lines if they don't mind not necessarily riding together.

Thanks for your responses and advice. I will talk to the older kids to see how flexible they want to be. As it’ll be their first time in Orlando they may be happy sticking with us and going with the flow.
