Land of Legends in the Antalya region of Turkey has a huge adjoining waterpark and theme park.

Although we didn’t stop at the hotel we went to the waterpark in September last year when we were playing the quarantine lottery.

Portugal has a good water park called Slide and Splash near Villamoura (Estombar), and also quite a good little park called Zoomarine where they have Orlando style dolphin shows in an amphitheatre, quite an entertaining pirate stunt show and some rides- kids enjoyed it and we have been twice.
We love Portugal and in normal times go most years in May to Villamoura.
Edit- hotel is called Aquashow hotel, and gets better reviews than I thought it would from driving past.
Portugal is a beautiful country, we much prefer it to Spain. I always think of it as a bit more classy than Spain, smarter, and a bit more Anglicised (in a good way). They are our oldest friends, having signed the Anglo- Portuguese Alliance in 1373 which is technically still in force. It’s the only Euro country I’ve been to where I’d like to live there a few months a year.
Aquashow? Is that the one?

It is attached to a water park which you can enter for free.
We really enjoyed it there. It was our first time in Turkey and we only left it once in the week we were there to visit the Ephesus ruins.

The hotel is on a regular bus route into town too

Yes I think so. We only drive past it- never been in.
We normally stop inside Villamoura itself which is very nice. We normally rent a big apartment in the same place but there’s some nice hotels on or around the harbour like Tivoli, Crowne Plaza etc. Tons of good restaurants Villamoura including all around the harbour. We love it there.

Got a little splash area for the kids but I have no idea about location, never been to Portugal so know nothing about it.

Not heard of it but it’s much further up the coast from me. A decent run from the airport but looks really nice
