Iceland - booking excursions
Travel permitting we are going as a family of 3 between Christmas and new year.
We’ve only got 2 full days and want to do Blue Lagoon one day and the Golden Circle tour (or equivalent) on day 2. Anywhere recommend where is best to book these beforehand? I priced up Blue Lagoon directly and thought the prices were loads better than excursions but obviously that’s without transport. |

How are you getting to and from the airport?
We did the blue lagoon after we landed as it’s so close.

We have booked several packages with Icelandair and added excursions as part of the booking. I think they are all with Reykjavik excursions.
As the previous poster says you can pick up a transfer to the Blue Lagoon coming from or going to the airport. They can drop you back to your Reykjavik hotel (via the bus station). We are going back in January and this time we are visiting Fontana wellness spa as part of our Golden Triangle trip rather than a separate trip to the blue lagoon. |

Thanks for the idea but we have our return transfer already taken care of and we don’t land until nearly 7pm and fly at 11am on the last day

We booked our tours through Gray Line Iceland. Our Northern Lights one was cancelled, and they refunded immediately with no issues.

We used Geoiceland for all our trips, they were excellent and use small minibuses so it's very personal as well
