Will Uber etc pick up/drop off from outer buildings at CSR?
CSR looks great but it's big and we like to uber or lyft on the way back when our feet are ready to fall off, so does anyone have experience of doing this successfully?
Thanks 😊

I don’t see why not. We got picked up from directly outside our building at SSR.

If you download the app you can see exactly how much it would be.

uber/gb/en/price-estimate/
Prices change depending on how busy they are but it gives you a rough idea. |

Uber is coming in at $18 for a one way trip , but prices fluctuate upon demand so they can shoot up to double that quite easily, there is a shortage of uber lyft drivers aswell which creases the prices but they will normally be lot cheaper than taxi cabs. There is also the lynx bus for $2 but it will take about an hour and a half and the buses don’t have areas to store luggage

When I used them, it was lobby dropoff only but from what I'm reading, that might be because I was in the Casitas section. I haven't stayed in the other areas to know, but am reading that others have been able to request specific area drop off.
It's definitely an option at CBR so can't see why it wouldn't be allowed at CSR. |

I'm not sure specifically about CSR, but in the past I had tried to get Uber/Lyft to pickup from nearer the building where I was staying at Pop, and the drivers would inevitably get hopelessly lost trying to find me! (One time, memorably, the driver picked up the wrong group of people who had been waiting at the lobby to go to the same destination as me...) So after those experiences I almost always get pickup from the lobby now as it's just easier for me and the driver.
With CSR - there are bus stops so not sure if this will make it easier for the driver to find you at an outlying area? I've found that on the way back the drivers have been happy to drop me off at places other than the lobby.
