First time to Florida March 2022
Hi everyone,
This is my first time using the DIBB so I thought I would introduce myself. I am 24 years old, from Yorkshire going to Orlando for the first time with my boyfriend in March 2022. We originally booked it for September 2020. We are staying in POP Century for 10 nights followed by 4 nights at Universals Aventura. I am so excited and counting down the days! Any tips/advice for first-timers would be really appreciated Thanks, Lizzie |

Hi Colin, thanks a lot for your message. That sounds like a great tip, I think we will be planning to get up early and then go back to the hotel around lunch time for a few hours as I definitely won't be able to manage full days in the Florida heat!

You’ll have an amazing time 😁 Me and my husband did it twice before we had the kids and have just booked our 5th trip (kids 3rd). Definitely worth staying late at Disney for the fireworks they are amazing! I also recommend Busch Gardens it has some great thrill rides and always seems quiet when we visit 😁

Comfy breathable footwear, lots of water, plan, try stick to it and as others have said, have a few periods of rest (we used the waterparks days as rest - ish!) dotted throughout your plan!

Oh, not sure if they still do it in pop century, but stay away from the hot chocolate machine...im sure I put 10kg on because of that rascal!
Way to easy to pop in for one whilst passing, going to your room after a big day! |
